Gerald “Garry” L. Zerr, 64, of Herington, KS, died Sunday, June 28th, 2015, at the Herington Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, December 6, 1950, at Quinter, Kansas, the son of Lawrence J. and Mary M. (Maurath) Zerr.
A Committal Service will be held at a future date. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, Herington Chapel, is assisting with cremation plans.
Mr. Zerr was parts manager for KanEquip of Herington. He graduated from Winona High School with the class of 1968. He and his wife Carole both enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by his wife Carole of the home; a son Mark Zerr, KS; daughter Amy Davidson of Park, KS; step-son Blaine Buchholz, KS; and four (4) step-daughters: Denise Billinger, KS, Julie Tynon, MO, Carla Bujnoch, TX, & Paula Wancura, KS. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte Wasko, his twin brother Jerald “Jerry” Zerr, and brother Terrence Zerr, KS , a brother Leland Zerr, KS, and a brother Kenneth Zerr, KS; nine (9) grandchildren; and six (6) great grandchildren.
