Miss Ada L. Messner, born in Sunville, this county, on October 11, 1870, the daughter of Paul and Caroline Borger Messner, died in the Los Angeles, California, general hospital on Sunday, April 29. Details as to the cause of death have not been received here. Miss Messner lived in Franklin for some time, but nine years ago removed to California, locating in El Segundo. She was affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal church at Sunville since a child. Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Hunter Grove, of Sunville, and Mrs. David Oram, of Pin Oak, and one brother, C.H. Messner, of Sunville.
