She was born June 14, 1914 to the late Samuel and Amanda Poole Page.
Myrtle graduated from Woodruff High School, was a sales clerk at Carolina Cash Co. for 44 years until she retired, and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Woodruff.
Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Charles Keller Betsill; sons, Charles Keller Betsill, Jr., of Moore, and Benjamin Betsill, Sr., of Cross Anchor; sisters, Virginia Betsill, Loree Brockman, and Lucy Benson; and brothers, Sam, Marvin, Furman and Hugh Page.
Surviving are a son, Johnny Betsill and wife Wendy of Moore; a daughter, Nancy Betsill Donald of Woodruff; a special nephew Sammy Betsill; a special niece, Ann Hecht; daughters-in-law Shirley Mayzell and Peggy Betsill; one sister, Sarah Winefordner of Kuve Beach, NC; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday July 6, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services followed at 11:30 AM at the funeral home in The Stribling Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
Myrtle was laid to rest beside her loving husband, Charles Betsill, in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
