Elsie next married Milton Porter. The family continued to live in San Diego.
Geraldine lived much of her younger years with her grandparents, James and Olive Kenney. She moved with them to Gaston, Oregon where she attended Laurelwood Academy. Upon graduation, she attended Walla Walla College, graduating with a degree in Secretarial Sciences. She then taught at Laurelwood Academy.
In 1950 she married Melvin White. They lived in various small communities in Oregon. They had two children together and divorced in 1956. Geraldine next married Clifford Shiner. They lived in Silverton, Idaho. They had 2 children together and divorced in 1962. She and third husband, Donald Fisher, were together through out the remainder of her life, living first in Osburn, then Kellogg and Enaville, Idaho.
Geraldine taught for many years at Wallace High School in Northern Idaho. She loved crafts of all kinds, and was a talented knitter. She also played piano. She loved dogs and shared her life with many of them over the years. She and husband Don both enjoyed RV travel/camping.
She was funny and kind. She is remembered with love and gratitude and missed terribly.
