Michael "Mike" Schreiner, 81 of Sherwood, died at 11:30 p.m Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, following an illness of several months.

He was born April 10, 1887 in the Town of Woodville. 0n April 13, 1913, he married Mary Scherer. She died in 1950. In November 1952, he married Nellie Scherer. Mr. Schreiner was a farmer until 1952 when he moved to Sherwood.

Survivors include his widow, one son, Paul, Route 3, Chilton; two daughters, Mrs. Roman Schommer, Route 2, Chilton, and Mrs. Edward Schommer, De Kalb, Ill.; one brother, Matt, New Holstein; one sister, Mrs. George Heimerl of Chilton, and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton and at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, She wood. The Rev. Michael Drexler will officiate. Burial will in the parish cemetery.
