Frank Hyde Jr., 86, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on July 3, 2015, at Belle Meade Healthcare.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1928, in Greene County, Arkansas.
Mr. Hyde was a very good athlete in high school, participating in football and track and field events. He was proud to be granted a scholarship to the College of the Ozarks Pharmacy School to play football. Mr. Hyde served from 1952-54 in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Hyde Pharmacy from 1955 until 1991, then he continued part time a few years. He was a very faithful member of the Church of Christ and was a member of the Village Creek Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Poly Hyde of the home; two nieces, Suzanne King of Paragould and Pam (Stephen Jr.) Graham of Newport; great-nephew, Stephen (Heather) Graham III of Jonesboro; great-great-niece, Anistyn Graham of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Amy Hyde; two sisters, Arrawanna Hyde and Jackie King.
Services were at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
