Carlton Andrews, 76, of Macungie, died at home on January 6, 2013 after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. He was the husband of Patricia (Epting) Andrews. They would have celebrated their 53 wedding anniversary on January 30. Born and raised in East Macungie, he was a son of the late Paul and Mildred (Raedler) Andrews. Carlton was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie, where he had served in the past as a church council member and usher. He worked as anexpediter for Mack Trucks before retiring in November 1991 with 22 years of service. He was a 32nd degree Mason at the Lehigh Lodge. Carlton volunteered for the Macungie Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. He also played trumpet for the Macungie Band, and coached Little League baseball. Survivors: Wife, Patricia; daughter, Cheri, wife of James Voth, of Nazareth; sons, James of Macungie, Mark of Wyoming; sister, Elaine Schmoyer; brothers, Donald Andrews, Dennis Andrews and wife, Joanne, Larry Andrews; five grandchildren, Danielle Stem (Voth), Morgan Voth, Shannon Andrews, Trevor Andrews, Juliana Andrews; step-grandchild, Mark Sestok.
