Linda Stephenson, age 66, of Newport, passed away early Saturday morning, July 4, 2015 at her home.

She was a member of Centerview Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Stephenson; parents, Guy and Una Lee Huff; sister, Cindy Kaye Leach; and grandson, Mikey Ellison.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Stephenson (Jennifer Paxton) of Mosheim, Dwayne (Mysti) Stephenson of Gray, Tennessee, Anthony Stephenson of Newport, Charles Leach of Newport, and Mike (Terra) Ellison of White Pine; daughters, Unalee (Bradley) Holt of Newport and Maria Leach of Newport; brother Guy Lamar (Diana) Huff of Mosheim; seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 6, 2015 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Ball and Rev. Ron Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church prior to funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bybee United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
