December 3, 1926 - June 30, 2015 John Corlis Frodge, 89, of Maysville, Kentucky died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Bourbon Heights in Paris, Kentucky. Mr. Frodge was the widower of Geneva Hamilton Frodge. He retired from Emerson Power Transmission and was engaged in farming for many years. He was a member of the Shannon United Methodist Church and he loved camping and working on small engines. John was born in Bracken County, Kentucky on December 3, 1926 the son of the late Isaac and Rella Swartz Frodge. He is survived by his daughter, Julia Reese (Ron) of Lexington, Kentucky. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Frodge, Bryant Frodge, Henry Frodge and Floyd Frodge and by his sister, Ollie Hamm Reese. Funeral services for John Frodge will be held at the Shannon United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2015. Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Frodge, Tim Frodge, Larry Stinson, Gerald Frodge, Larry Buchanan and Carroll Jackson. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. The arrangements are under the direction of the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
