Walter E. Hatfield
Aguila--- Services for Walter Edgar Hatfield, 84, a resident here since 1955, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Burial was in the Aguila Cemetery.
A retired painter and carpenter, Mr. Hatfield was born in Ashland City, Tenn., and came to Arizona in 1937 from Copeland, Ark. He was a World War I veteran, and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel; a daughter, Mrs. Avery McBride of Mesa; a stepdaughter, Mrs. William Mayes of Prescott; two sons, George, in the Army in Thailand, and Joseph of Madison, Tenn.; a brother and two sisters out of state; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
