Mrs. Opal Belle Carroll, age 89, of Bunker Way, Blairsville, GA, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Union General Hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Towns County to the late Mitch and Rhoda (Phillips) Ingram. She had worked for 25 years with Carolina Dress. Mrs. Carroll was a great cook and loved making flowers, and she helped everyone in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grady Carroll in 2005. Mrs. Carroll was a member of Youngstown Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery where she will rest beside her beloved husband William Grady Carroll.
