ABBEVILLE - Mary S. Addison, age 83, of 9287 Owensboro Rd., Abbeville, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M. Wednesday, June 21 in the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Bay Springs Cemetery in Rhine. -Mrs. Addison was born on October 19, 1922 in Dodge County. She had lived the greater part of her life in Wilcox County. She was daughter of the late John Oscar Stuckey and Annie Rebecca McCranie Stuckey. She was a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church, the Euzelian Sunday School Class, the WMU and the Joymakers of Abbeville First Baptist Church. She was Librarian Assistant for 20 years with the Abbeville School System and was employed with the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office from 1968-1972. She was also a homemaker. -Survivors include one son, Bob (Joann) Addison of Abbeville; one sister, Annie Laura Maloy of Albany, three grandsons, Robert Addison, Jr., Jason and wife, Jenna Addison, Randall (Bubba) Addison all of Abbeville; and one great-grandson, Ryan Addison of Abbeville. -Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 20 in the funeral home. -The family may be contacted at the Addison residence at 9287 Owensboro Rd., Abbeville. -Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
