Annette D. Montpas

Annette D. Montpas, 74, of Biddeford, died Friday, March 19, 2010, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born July 28, 1935, in Biddeford to Oscar and Cecile Labrecque Montpas and was educated in Biddeford schools.

As a young girl Ms. Montpas took care of the children of relatives and friends. She then worked 10 years in area shoe shops and 24 years at Pepperell Manufacturing Co. in Biddeford. She retired 1998 and in retirement she worked at Hannaford Bros.

She enjoyed bowling, traveling to Atlantic City, the beach at Old Orchard and New England professional sports.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church of the Good Shepherd Parish in Biddeford where she sang in the church choir for many years.

She was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Normand, in 1996.

Survivors include her uncle, Lucien Lamontagne of Biddeford, and several nieces and nephews.
