Robert Eugene Edwards Sr., age 69, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Monday June 29, 2015.

He was born August 9, 1945 at Kansas City, Kansas the son of Kenneth and Ethel Gaylord Edwards. He owned and operated Bob''s Mobile Home Repair for many years. He married Glenda Bowlin on May 22, 1993. He was a Christian man who lived by the Golden Rule. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and Joel Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Glenda, sons, Robert Edwards Jr and Kyle Bowlin, three daughters: Donna Lynne Bowden, Eliska Lessley and Tiffany Heiss, fourteen grandchildren: Elisa, Michael, Chrissy, Lane, Colton, Trenton, Jess, Shane, Matthew, Ethan, Spencer, Clare, Madison, and Rons, and two great grandchildren, Jace and Wakely.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory Mound City Chapel. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to service time. The family suggests contributions to the Barnes Jewish Hospital Transplant Center.
