SHANNON D. KAUFFMAN

A well known retired miller, died unexpectedly at his home in Osterburg, Monday at 11 a.m. of a heart attack.

He was born at Osterburg, Feb. 3, 1879, a son of Emanuel and Maria Croyle Claycomb.

He was united in marriage to Miss Carrie Berkheimer, of Reynoldsdale, April 6, 1912.

Mr. Kauffman leaves his widow; these brothers and sisters, Clarence of Doylestown, Edward of Horsham, Jasper of New York City, and Mrs. Vertie Bittinger of Martinsburg.

Mr. Kauffman operated a grist mill at Osterburg for a number of years.

He was a member of the Reformed Church at Osterburg.

Friends will be received at the late home after 3 P.M. Tuesday.
