Waynesville-Angela “Angel” Marie Rogers, 44, of Waynesville, died on Wednesday, July 01, 2015, at The Homestead following an extended illness. Angela was born in Lakeland, FL, on Christmas Day 1970, to James and Sarah Messer Webb. She loved horses and anything to do with water whether it was going to the lake, the beach or going on a cruise. Angel was also an avid sports fan, enjoying football, basketball and baseball.
Angel was preceded in death by her brother, Eddy Lee Miller; and her maternal grandparents, Hughes and Edith Messer.
In addition to her parents, Angel is survived by two sons, Zacary Mathews (Keri) and Tyler Rogers; brothers, Tony Lee Miller, Steven Lee Miller; step-brother, Michael Webb; sister Marilynn Marcus and significant other Roger Edwards; step-sister, Marianna Honeycutt (Terry); and granddaughter, Morghan Cochran.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Jerry Nelson and Reverend Ron Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford-Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
