Services for Loran Billings will be held Dec. 21, 2005, at Manni Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until the 7 p.m. funeral service. Burial will take place in Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale at a later date. Loran was born July 3, 1933, in Oklahoma. He worked as a roofer in the home construction business for many years. He passed away Dec. 16, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center. He leaves behind his sons Loran and John, daughter Pam Adams, companion Jeanette and seven grandchildren.
