John Fischer Illness Fatal
John Fischer passed away at his home at 116 S. Garfield street yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. A native of Russia, 63 years old, he came to Lodi a year and a half ago from McClusky, North Dakota, and he had engaged in farming throughout his life.
He leaves his wife, Rose Fischer, and he was the father of Mrs. Newharth of Chico, Mrs. Emil Delk of Lodi, Ed Fischer of Anoka, Minnesota; Irvin Fischer and Mrs. Hoerling of Portland, Oregon; Leonard Fischer of Lodi, Mrs. Roland Wahl of Valier, Montana; Mrs. Ralph Stanford of Longview, Washington; Elmer Fischer and Miss Dorothea Fischer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Mr. Fischer was the brother of Andrew Fischer of Bismarck, North Dakota; Bill Fischer of Wilton, North Dakota; Ed Fischer and Jake Fischer of Montana, and Otto Fischer of Hartsfield, North Dakota. His sisters are Mrs. George Bettner of Cathy, North Dakota, and Mrs. Fred Newmiller of Montana.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lodi.
