She was born in Kaysville, Utah on December 28, 1916 the daughter of Levi Stone and Harriet Ellen Ellis Heywood. Harriet attended Layton Elementary School and graduated from Davis High School Class of 1935 where she was the Valedictorian of the Senior Class.
She met Ray F. Lee in 1936 when he and his family moved from Elsinore, Utah, to Kaysville; and they were married July 17, 1937. They were the parents of three children, Fred, Duane and Kathy.
Harriet working career included work at the Inland Printing Company in Kaysville, the Ogden Ordinance Depot and Hill Air Force Base from which she retired in August 1974.
Harriet’s hobbies before and since retirement have included taking pictures of her three children, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; writing poetry for various occasions and in the last five years, trying to play the Lowrey organ.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathryn (Gary) Peterson, Farmington; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Sandy Lee, Sandy, Utah.
Preceded in death by her husband Ray, two sons, Fred and Duane.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
