Amos Blunk, formerly of Crandall, this county, died at his home in New Albany last Monday afternoon at the age of eighty two years. His death was caused by a fall about ten days before from which he suffered great injuries.
He is survived by his wife and the following children, Mrs C. A. Sims, of Crandall, Mrs. Maggie Applegate, of Corydon, Mrs Emma Crump, of near New Middletown, Mrs William Emily, of near Corydon, Jim Blunk, of Louisville, and Ward and Walter Blunk, of Richmond.
Swarens and Adams, of Ramsey were called to New Albany Monday afternoon to prepare the body for burial. It was then brought to Crandall and funeral services will be held at the Crandall United Brethren church this (Wednesday) morning conducted by Rev. N. Fouts of Georgetown and burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery.
