Edith M. Low, 82, Clayton, died Thursday, June 4, in Heartland Healthcare Center, Prestwick [Avon]. The daughter of Frank and Clara Perkins Mitchell, she was born March 15, 1910 in Hendricks County. She was the widow of Raymond Blunk and Robert J. Low. Mrs. Low had been co-owner of Low Orchard for 50 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and treasurer and board member of Center Valley Cemetery Association. Services were Monday, June 8, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Rev. John Parsons officiated with burial in Center Valley Cemetery. Surviving are brothers, George T. and Dennis L. Mitchell; and sister, Gladys Moore.
