Services for Louis Agoff, Sr., 82, Payne Springs, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at Harbor Point Baptist Church, 12059 St. Hwy. 198, in Mabank.
Agoff was born April 10, 1928, in Lafitte, La., to Clotidle and Arthur Agoff and died Feb. 11, 2011. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He resided in Lafitte, La., until he moved to the lake area 20 years ago. Agoff retired from Louisiana Land and Exploration Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lillian Fish Agoff and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include wife Pam Agoff; children Sean Agoff, Ralph Agoff and wife Marion, Marrero, La.; Louis P. Agoff Jr. and wife Julia, Magnolia, Miss.; Jamie Agoff Foster and husband Michael; granddaughter Lilly Foster; brother Theriot Agoff Sr. and wife Marilyn, Lafitte, La.; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
