MCDONOUGH, Ga. Keith Edward Bigham, 54, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, in Vitas Hospice Care in Stockbridge, Ga.
He was admitted into DeKalb Medical Center on June 8 for knee replacement surgery at which time he was suffering with an acute infection called MRSA. After a long bout with this infection it weakened his heart causing a heart attack. He was placed on life support for a period of eight days but never regained consciousness.
He was the son of the late Thomas Edward Bigham and Shirley Stowe Bigham of McDonough, Ga. He has a daughter, Kayla Bigham Miller; one son, Keith Edward Jr.; two brothers, Mark Thomas Bigham and Christopher Bigham, both of McDonough, Ga.; two grandsons; and one granddaughter.
A Memorial Service was held at United Methodist Church on July 5, in Stockbridge, Ga. Pastor Rick Marson officiated at the memorial service. He was laid to rest in Cold Water Baptist Church cemetery with his late father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Pastor Posey officiated the graveside service.
