Luther "Lute" Calvin Hoagland of San Bernardino, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, had lived in San Bernardino for 64 years, died yesterday at his home at Tippecanoe and Mill Street in San Bernardino at the age of 65. He had suffered an attack of influenza about a week ago, which developed into pneumonia. He was the son of Luther Hoagland Sr., a member of the Mormon Battalion, was a rancher and a member of the Pioneer Society. He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Inez Hoagland, a sister, Mrs. W. D. Aldridge, and two brothers, Ernest and Monroe Hoagland, all of San Bernardino. Funeral services are pending with J. W. Woodhouse & Co.
