Alice was born January 13, 1936 in Great Falls, Montana to Carl F. and Alleda (Johnson) Lemmer. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Thompson, and her half-brother, Richard Trant. Alice spent the first 18 years of her life in Great Falls attending public schools and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1954.
After high school, she went on to attend Montana State College in Bozeman to pursue a degree in Nursing. Her nursing studies came to an end when she met and later married Lester E. Ammondson on September 11, 1955. When Lester graduated from Montana State College in 1956, they moved back to Great Falls where Lester began a long career with the Montana Power Company. Alice and Les parented two sons.
Alice is survived by her husband, her two sons, three grandchildren, and also nieces/nephews and grand nieces/nephews.
