He was born March 18, 1920 at Ryker, Arkansas the son of Henry Farris and Louisa (Davis) Begley.
He had worked for Boeing Aircraft during World War II and had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He had also worked in carpentry. He liked playing his guitar and was an avid musician.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Rosa Hoy, Belle Fowler and Edith Begley; one brother, Henry Begley and an infant daughter, Phyllis Jean Begley.
Survivors are his wife, Sarah Ellen (Fields) Begley of Kingston, Arkansas; a daughter, Roxanna McCullough of Green Forest, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Josh McCullough of Shell Knob, MO; Amanda, Ashleigh, Alyssa and Denton McCullough all of Green Forest, AR and many other relatives and friends.
