COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Juanita Allena Hale, 59, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, November 30, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Cemetery in DeKalb County.
Mrs. Hale died Sunday, November 28, 1993, at Cookeville Health Care Center. Born in Huntsville, Alabama on April 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alvin C. and Alpha Collins Copeland Palk. Mrs. Hale was a homemaker.
Her family includes one daughter, Lisa Crawley of Cookeville; one son, Johnny Hale of Cookeville; one brother, Franklin Delano "Buddy" Palk of Cookeville; two half brothers, Roy Avery Copeland of Baxter and Browne B. Palk of California and two grandchildren, Bruce and Randy Crawley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Frank Hale.
Pallbearers will be Roy, Willard and Dale Moss, Kenneth Peterson, Carl Halfacre and Lonnie Hale. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today. Bro. Gary Norton will officiate at the services.
