Geneva Anderson, age 87, of DeMotte, IN passed away on, June 26, 2015, at her residence. Geneva was born on August 10, 1927 in Dubois, IN the daughter of Henry Casper and Anna Elizabeth (Seger) Nonte both deceased.
On February 26, 1949 Geneva married the love of her life, Austin Eugene Anderson and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2013
Geneva had worked as a telephone operator in Hammond and after moving to DeMotte as a custodian at the DeMotte Elementary Schools for many years. She was a member of the St Cecilia Catholic Church in DeMotte and was involved in many church organizations. Geneva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Geneva leaves behind her loving children, John (Debby) Anderson of Rensselaer, Michael (Sue) Anderson of DeMotte, Bonnie (John) Kennedy of Rensselaer, Cheryl (Kevin) Mosher of Wheatfield and Ronald (Maryann) Anderson of DeMotte; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 10 brothers and sisters.
