After 22 years of service, Clinton retired from the Air Force. He then worked at Lockheed Martin as an inspector until retirement. A devoted member of both the VFW and the American Legion, he was always quick to help and was a genuine friend. He was a committed family man who adored his wife and daughter. Kind, gentle, funny and good, he was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
Clinton was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Deakins; mother, Maisie Hafner; and his loving wife, Doris Deakins.
Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Deakins; and grandson, Brady Lawson.
