Beulah Lorraine Sides Martin 69 of Rt 7 Hickory died Monday at her residence following a brief illness.
Born Nov 26, 1919 in Forsyth County, she was a daughter of the late John Sides Sr and Ada Martin Sides.
She was preceded in death by two brothers James Sides and William Sides.
Survivors include her husband William Ira Martin Sr; a son William Ira Martin Jr of Hickory; a daughter Mary Ann Church of Rhodhiss; two brothers John Sides Jr and Julius Sides of Hildebran; five sisters Mrs WB (Ellen) Aldridge of Newburn, Mrs MZ (Ann) Kanipe of Hickory, Peggy Braswell and Barbara A Taylor of Hildebran and Mrs Robert (Mary) McNeill of West Jefferson and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Thursday at Bass Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
