Thomas M. Baudino, age 56, of Custer Park, formerly of Elwood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Joliet and was a lifelong area resident. Employed with the Illinois Commerce Commission as a Police Officer for over 30 years. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed raising cattle and farming with his family.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Baudino, Sr.
Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary (Walsh); his children, Timothy (Christine) Baudino and Kathleen (Gregory) Lyles; his grandchildren, Carli, Abigail, Joseph and Jack Baudino, Makayla Tordai and Adrianna Lyles; his mother, Norma (Dunterman) Baudino; a brother, Robert J. Baudino, Jr.; a sister, Linda Paone; brothers-in-law, Robert (Linda) Walsh, Lawrence (Irene) Walsh, John (Susan) Walsh, Martin (Karen) Walsh and Edward Walsh; sisters-in-law, JoAnne (Martin) Katzmarek and Nancy Walsh (Linda Mackley). Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Tom's family would be appreciated so they may give to the American Association for Cancer Research and the Joliet Area Community Hospice in Tom's name.
Per Tom's wishes, cremation rites were respectfully addressed.
A Memorial Visitation for Tom will be held Sunday, June 28, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Tribute at 3:00 p.m. with Fr. Chris Groh officiating, in the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1105 E. 9TH ST. (159TH ST.), LOCKPORT.
