Kim Hicks Anderson, 54, died Saturday, June 20, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Holliman, Rev. Danny Brown, and Rev. Billy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Breckenridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Kim was born on January 15, 1961 in Hobbs, NM to Alfred Young and Willie Mae Hicks. She was a nurse’s aide and was Pentecostal and Baptist.
She is survived by daughters, Gabrielle Hicks Swann and Paris Hicks; sons, Kenyatta Session and Cameron Session; mother, Willie Mae Davenport; father, Alfred Young; fiancé, Daniel Thompson; step-father, Joe Davenport; sisters, Marvie Davenport and JoAnn Davenport; brothers, Alfred Young, Stevie Davenport, and Julian Young; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
