A retired textile worker and member of Temple Baptist Church. World War I Veteran. Survivors included: his wife, Mary Lula Parker Carroll; two sons; three sisters; two brothers; three grandchildren. Services were held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 1963 at the Draytonville Baptist Church with interment in the Church Cemetery. He was 76 years of age at his demise.
