For 67 years an Ottumwan, Martin O'Hara, 84, retired farmer of 505 Chester Ave., died at 6 AM today. Mr. O'Hara was born in Danville, New York, November 20, 1852, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick O'Hara. He came to Wapello County in 1870, farming until about 25 years ago when he retired. Surviving are his wife Ellen; one son, Martin of Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Garvin of Ottumwa, Mrs. B. Fitzgerald Los Angeles California, and Mrs. Neil Gibson of Sheridan, Wyoming; one brother, Anthony of Good Night, Oklahoma, and one granddaughter, Joan. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. B. J. Decker. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers will be D. P. Herber, Frank Gibbons, W. L. Gilger, John Sweeney, Herbert Vaughan and J. Edward Love. Members of the General Shields Council, No. 888, Knights of Columbus, will go to the home at 7 PM to recite the Rosary.
