Mrs. W. Coffield, after a lingering illness of some months, died at her home last Friday morning at 3 o'clock.
Those attending the funeral from other parts were Mrs. and Mrs. Shook, of St. Helena, Mr. and Mrs. Coffield of Napa, Mrs. and Mrs. William Barnett, of Vacaville, Mrs. Gray, of Oakland.
Deceased was born in Pope valley and was the daughter of Elias Barnett, one of the oldest and most respected residents of the valley. (Her mother died in her early childhood. She was about 35 years of age.)
She leaves a husband, Wiley W. Coffield, and five children: Willie, Blanch, Weston, Joel and Annie; a sister, Mrs. Alfred Mast, and other relatives.
