Betty Jean Groeper passed away on June 20, 2015 at the age of 86. She is survived by her son, Bruce (Martha) Groeper; daughter, Barbara (David) Orf; two granddaughters, Julie (Naser) Hamdi, Meghan (Mike) Nelson; grandson, Tony (Justine) Orf; 3great-grandchildren, Ryan, Maya, Lilly, and one on the way; She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Groeper, father, Tony Owens, mother, Laura Bell Owens, sister, Helen "Jack" Owens, sister, Nellie Owens Ruge. Betty married Calvin Groeper December 14, 1946 the love of her life. Betty was a lifelong member of Immanuel U.C.C. in Wright City. Betty enjoyed playing the piano, organ, cards and bingo.
