Wilfrid P. Abhold, age 84, of Mount Calvary, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
He is now with Beverly in Heaven.
Wilfrid & Beverly were married on November 18, 1950 in Fond du Lac.
He owned and operated Abhold's Garage in Mount Calvary. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Fire Department, served on the Board of Directors of Mount Calvary Bank, Lumber Co. and the Community Hall. He was a member of St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church in Mount Calvary.
Survivors include his six children, Richard Abhold of Sheboygan Falls, Catherine (Michael) Bos of Appleton, Len Abhold of Van Dyne, Laurie Abhold of Sturtevant, Julie Newberg of Sturtevant, and Brian Abhold of Mount Calvary; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Fritz of Fond du Lac and Alma Knaus of Fond du Lac.
Wilfrid was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; a son, Steven; a granddaughter; his parents; and three brothers.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church, 308 County Road W Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap will officiate.
Inurnment will be at the Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
Visitation: A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church on Saturday, January 24th from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
