Joe Blunk died at his home near Haywood Chapel on Sunday morning. He was born in Daviess County January 23, 1861, and married to Miss Myra Hagen, July 13 1890. Four children were born to this union two of whom are living. Guy and william, of the same community. One brother and several grandchildren also survives. Rev. William Norrington had charge of the funeral service which was conducted from the Haywood Chapel at 2:30 o'clocl Tuesday afternoon with intermnet in the Lewisport Cemetery.∼Also known as "Jo" or "Joe."

Joseph married Laura Myra Hagen (1870-1944) on July 13, 1890 in Spencer County, Indiana. They had four children.
