ALFRED RAY WADE - 1947-2015 - born in Calvert, TX, and raised in Houston, TX, passed away peacefully June 18, 2015 at his home in Windsor Village. He graduated from E. E. Worthing, class of 1966. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Leroy and Mary Sidney. Ray will forever be remembered by his three devoted brothers Lonnie Hicks, Claude Beatty, and Billy Hicks Sr., sister Deloris Jean Strahan, and daughter Raquel Wade Gant. He also leaves to mourn him, his grandson, sisters-in-saw, cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of others.
Ray touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. The Memorial Service is pending at Richardson Mortuary, 3201 Brookfield Drive, Houston, TX 77045.
