Charles D. 'Pud' Eubanks

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel, for Charles "Pud" Eubanks, 82, of Glencoe. Melissa Saccuci and Charles "Peanut" Gilchrist will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge.

Mr. Eubanks was a member of Glencoe First United Methodist Church. Pud was a very hard worker and an avid Alabama fan. He spent many years working with young people at church and driving the church bus. After retirement, he also drove tour buses with his cousin and very close friend, Brian St. John. Most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew William Eubanks; mother, Sadie Mae Abel Eubanks; brother, Bobby J. Eubanks; sister-in-law, Nancy Eubanks; nephew, Bill Eubanks; son-in-law, Mike Lokey; father-in-law, Leonard C. Vice; mother-in-law, Martha H. Vice; and sister-in-law, Mary F. Perkins.

He is survived by his wife, Delma J. Vice Eubanks; sons, Terry D. Eubanks and Michael Todd (Paige) Eubanks; daughter, Teresa J. Lokey (Jeff Ashley); grandsons, Jake (Ashley) Underwood, Adam Eubanks, Andy Eubanks, Blaine Eubanks, Taylor Eubanks and Brett Whiteside; great-grandchildren, Ansley and Ellis Underwood, and Griffin Gartman; sister-in-law, Shirley M. Vice (James) Pruitt; brother-in-law, Jerry L. (Pat) Vice; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Special thanks to Lawley Hospice and the nurses and staff of Dr. Steve Sanders.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Glencoe First United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
