Allendale - Mrs Annie Elizabeth Tuten, 92, widow of Alexander Raymond Tuten, died Thursday at a local nursing home.
The funeral will be 5 pm Friday at the chapel of the Smith Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Salkehatchie Cemetery in Ulmer.
Mrs Tuten was born in Allendale County, a daughter of the late Henry Washington and Harriet Brant Harter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Allendale.
Surviving are a dauther, Mrs Lucille Tuten Williams (A P Williams) of Allendale; a sister, Mrs John C Lott of Columbia; three half sisters, Mrs Eva Dean, Mrs Dora Woods and Mrs Lucille Kennon, all of Ridgeland; a half brother, Paul Harter of Saltillo, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
