George T. "JR" Morean, Jr. age 74, of Seaford, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. JR retired from the DuPont Co. in Seaford in 1999, after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of the U S Army and a member of the American Legion, Post 28 in Millsboro. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Laverne Rementer Morean; a son, Paul Morean; two daughters, Lynn Morean and Sherri Brittingham (Scott); two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Federalsburg, Md. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the American Legion, Post 28, 31768 Legion Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966.
