Steven Vincent Aldrich, 63, of Hermann passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital.

He was born on July 1, 1951 in Haverhill, Ma., the son of the late Kenneth Aldrich and the late Loraine (Osgood) Aldrich. On February 23, 1980, he was united in marriage to Bonnie (Pullen) Aldrich. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2009. He was then married to Becky (Rouse) Aldrich on October 30, 2010. She survives his passing.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In 1980, he went to work as a Reactor Operator for Ameren UE. He retired in 2009 and became a full-time Grandpa Gadget. He enjoyed tinkering, flying radio-controlled airplanes, riding four wheelers, and drinking a few Miller Lites.

Along with his wife, Becky, Steven is survived by daughters, Natascha Rowland (Dax) of Tacoma, Wa., and April Wimmer (David) of Portland; step-son, Michael Rodriguez (Stephanie) of Tulsa, Ok.; twelve grandchildren, Christopher Stokoe, Cassandra Rowland, Dennis Hoffmann (Annie), Courtney Hoffmann, Joseph Hoffmann, Randy Jenkins, Tony Jenkins (Lea), Dustin Emerick, Rose Anjohrin, Dominic Rittman, Avery Rodriguez, and Brynn Rodriguez; and five great-grandchildren, Addison Hoffmann, Lacey Hoffmann, Alison Stokoe, Jake Jenkins, and Travis Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Bonnie Condos; and step-daughter, Annie Rodriguez.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Tom Rea officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations are suggested to Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church of Hermann Building Fund, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
