Norma Witcher went home to celebrate Father’s Day with her dad and heavenly Father Sunday, June 21, 2015. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6-8 p.m. today, June 22, 2015 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate her life of 92 years will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel, followed by a committal service at 4:30 p.m. at Center Point Cemetery in Saint Jo, Texas.
Survivors include her daughter, Norma Gist and husband, Larry; four granddaughters, Stefanie Bailey, Kristen Wade and husband, Nicholas, Amanda Early and Shanna Gist; five great-granddaughters, Kirstein Duncan, Kyleigh Early, Abigail, Allison, and Ansley Wade; five great-grandsons, Bryson and Braxton Bailey, Tyler and Blake Stephenson, and Rylan Cox; sister, Maxine Hendrich; sister of the Heart, Mattie Johnson; brother-in-law, John C. Johnson and wife, Patricia; sister-in-law, Lotus Cantrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Prescott and Nora Armstrong; husbands, Welton B. Johnson, and Jack Witcher; son, Phillip Johnson; siblings, Melvin, Drew, and Foy Armstong, Nona Karbo, Geneva Webb.
