By 1910, Anna was widowed and living with her parents and her 2 children Clara (Will) and August Beckmeyer in New Athens, St. Clair Co., IL. Anna died at the Forest Park Manor Nursing Home and was buried 11 Nov 1969.

Anna's husband Edward Beckemeyer (and his family) spelled their last name Beckemeyer. After Edward died in 1907, Anna and her children (Clara and August) had the spelling as Beckmeyer. August's 1910, 1920, and 1930 census records had "Beckmeyer" but was changed to Beckemeyer. Anna and Clara continued to use the Beckmeyer spelling, as noted on their census records and obits.
