The funeral for Mrs. Laura May Atkinson, age seventy-eight, who died Sunday night in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ed Mobley, 1450 North LaSalle street, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Jordan funeral home. Burial will be at Milton.
Mrs. Atkinson, who was the widow of Newman Atkinson, was born at Lawrence, Kas., but had lived in Indianapolis forty years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mobley and Mrs. Mary Bain, four sons, Lawrence, Raymond, Walter and Earl Atkinson, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Mary Foose, Chanute, Kas.; twenty seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of Henry & Bethiah Willis Stokes.
