DAVENPORT — Services for Bernadine E. Johnson, 94, of Davenport, will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Mrs. Johnson went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Davenport, after an extended illness.

Bernadine Jones was born March 7, 1905, in Allerton, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Dollie (Kelly) Jones.

She was most recently employed as manager of the Moline Salvation Army Store.

She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church, Davenport.

She loved sewing and encouraging people to go to church.

Memorials may be made to Grandview Baptist Church or Davenport Good Samaritan Nursing Center.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Theda and Al Myers, Bettendorf; and 14 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother.
