Funeral service for Margaret L. Yoder, 94, Lawton will be at 1:30 pm Monday, June 29, 2015, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Belh, pastor of Beal Heights Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Yoder died Saturday, June 20, 2015 in a Lawton nursing home.

Burial will be in the Flower Mound Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yoder was born on July 23, 1920, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Leo Frank and Edith E. (Nickell) Bott. She was a seamstress at Ft Sill, OK, during WWII. She worked at the Wolverton Hotel as a desk clerk. She also worked as a classified ad clerk at the Lawton Constitution, and she worked as a seamstress from the home for many years. She was a member of Beal Heights Presbyterian Church where she served as the Secretary of the Women’s Association. She also served as President and Secretary of the Will Rogers Elementary School PTA. Mrs. Yoder was a graduate of Lawton High School.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Ruth and Donald Moran of Magnolia, TX and Patricia and Johnny Higgins of Lawton, OK; her grandchildren, Diania and Charles Johnson of River Ridge, LA, Brian and Beverly Moran of Livingston, TX, Daniel and Kim Moran of San Antonio, TX, James Moran of Deer Park, TX, Jennifer Joves of Lawton, OK, Audrey and Jeff Rodriguez of Vacaville, CA, Toni Dawn Hogan of Fairfield, CA, Amanda Hogan of Denver, CO; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a sister-in-Law, Mary Margaret Bott of Oklahoma City, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ira D. Yoder; father and mother: Leo and Edith Bott; mother-in law: Lillian Davis Yoder; brother: Clarence C. Bott; grandparents: Frank and Jennie Bott and Nancy and William Nickell.
