Clarence "Lee" Cox, 43, Marion, died at 2:12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Hospice Home of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Mussel Shoals, Alabama, to the late James and Ada (Levi) Cox and was a 1990 Marion High School graduate and attended Vincennes University.
Lee was a tile setter for Rheinschmidts Company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building things and was a very talented mechanic.
Lee is survived by his loving mother, Ada Cox and his brothers, James O. Cox, Marion, IN, and WiIliam Cox, Gas City, IN; special friend, Joyce Turner of Marion, IN; nephew, James Cox of Marion, IN; and his cat, Bishop; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James; maternal grandfather, William Levi; maternal grandmother, Emma Levi; grandfather, Clarence Cox; and grandmother, Louise Cox.
A Celebration of Life for Lee will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Grant Memorial Park Chapel, 1606 E. 26th St., Marion, IN, with Chaplain Darrell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service in the Grant Memorial Park Chapel.
