Succumbs in Ava
Funeral services were held Friday in the Isabella Baptist Church for William Bert McCullough 94, a lifelong resident of Isabella, with the Rev. Willie Hillhouse officiating.
Mr. McCullough died Wednesday in Chastain Nursing Home at Ava, following a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the General Baptist Church at Isabella.
He was born Feb 24, 1880, in Taney county the son of Dr. Pleas and Mattie Henderson McCullough.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Hazel Schofield, Brewster, Wash., and Mrs. LaVada Terry, Fairbanks, Alaska; two sons, Plezle, Brewster, Wash., and Louie of Mountain Home, Ark., and 14 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Burial was in the Isabella Cemetery, The pallbearers were Ulys Schofield, Burl Schofield, John Coulter, Plezle McCullough and Leonard McCullough.
